Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against Johnson & Johnson because of a possible link between talc and ovarian cancer.

More than 5,500 women have said that Johnson’s Baby Powder, J & J Shower-to-Shower and other talc-based powder products has led them to develop ovarian cancer.

The talcum powder lawsuit was filed by women who develop ovarian cancer after frequent use of J & J products containing talc. Several studies have shown evidence of a relationship between the use of powder near the genitals and the development of ovarian cancer.

Thousands of women who develop ovarian cancer after a routine use J & J products have filed a lawsuit claiming that the company has an obligation to warn about the increased risk of cancer when the powder is used in or near the genitals.

Women or their family members who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer that may have been caused by the use of powder may be eligible for compensation for medical injuries or death.
